This museum celebrates the long and interesting history of this small community on the edge of Glasgow. The Ironworks played an important part in the industrial development of the community, and an original 19th Century lamppost from the works is installed at the museum. There are also a range of other artefacts and documents that help to bring to life the rich covenanting history of the region.
