Street Level Photoworks was founded in 1989 by the Glasgow Photography Group. The idea behind the gallery is to promote the creative use of photo media and to make high level art available to the general public in this sometimes forgotten sector of visual expression. The gallery presents an ever-changing series of challenging exhibitions and also has an outreach programme that offers facilities to young and emerging talents.
