Beechwood Shopping Centre has around 28 shops, including two department stores and a range of cafes and restaurants. A more unusual feature is the indoor garden. Packed with large architectural shrubs, it also has a brook running through it, which is crossed by a footbridge. This garden also contains a bust of Brian Jones, founder the Rolling Stones. "Golden Boy" was created by Maurice Juggins. The sculpture was unveiled in 2005.
