Situated at the heart of Buxton, this museum and gallery is one of the most well loved cultural complexes in the region. Offering a comprehensive history of the town and its surrounding regions, the museum has a great deal of fine looking artefacts on display, archaeological finds, antiques and many other pieces that help bring the history of the area to life. There is also an art gallery based in the same building, carrying a great permanent collection.
