This area has a long and interesting history, much of which is explored here in the local museum. There is a large collection in place that has been carefully constructed by several curators and a series of volunteers. Visitors are treated to a range of archaeological discoveries, artefacts from the history of the town, antiques, paintings, photographs and much more.
