Ceramica was built at the turn of the millennium to commemorate the glory of the Potteries. The museum will show you every step it takes to make a pot, from clay, to firing, to the finished product. Inside, there is Josiah Wedgwood’s own kiln discovered by Time Team that he used to fire the first Wedgwood plates. There is also the Ceramica shop that features some of the most elegant pieces of pottery and some exclusives that are only available in the Ceramica shop.
