Chesterfield Museum and Gallery is located at the very heart of the community and is one of the most important cultural meeting points in the region. The museum attempts to tell the story of the town and its development, from archaeological pieces that have been found in the area to antiques and artefacts that would have belonged to locals in the middle ages. There is also an art gallery with a fine historic collection in the complex.
