The Cotswold Gateway Visitors Centre is the key information point for the Cotswold Water Park. It is a wonderful building, constructed from green oak and features a solar panel on the roof and heat pumps which recycle rainwater and create energy for the visitors centre. There are many things of interest at the gateway centre, including the excellent Coots café, which serves delicious, freshly prepared lunches as well as an amazing 50,000 year old mammoth skull found in nearby village Ashton Keynes.
