Dudley Zoo was founded in 1937 in the grounds of Dudley Castle. With more than 1,000 animals in its collection, representing over 200 different species, the zoo places a strong emphasis on conservation. From tigers, lions and orangutans to giraffes, tapirs and sealions, there’s something for everyone. As well as standard entry to the zoo, visitors can also book a ‘Be a zookeeper’ experience to get even closer to the exotic and endangered animals. Themed activities and events are held throughout the year.
