Born in Chipping Campden 1876, Ernest Wilson was one of the world's greatest plant collectors, introducing around 1200 new species and collecting around 100,000 specimens. This garden celebrates his life and work and it is planted exclusively with some of the trees and plants he discovered. Among them, the paper bark maple, Acer griseum, and the Lily, Lilium regale. The garden was opened by Roy Lancaster in 1984. Admission is free and the garden is open all year.
