Fradley Junction is a popular spot with boaters and walkers alike. It lies some five miles east of Lichfield and is the junction of three canals. It also serves as the home to the British Waterways Board, a boat hire company with a shop and the Swan Inn, a busy canalside venue. During the summer months, the Tourist Information Centre guides lead guided walks along the canalside.
