This Victorian façade hides the much older Meeting House of 1673. It is best viewed from St Clement's Walk at the back of the building, from where its stone roof and rounded Gothic-glazed windows can best be seen. The lower-roofed section was added in 1810. Inside, the building still has 19th-century panelling and benches as well as the Doric columns probably added in the early 1700s for extra support.
