Sadly, this wonderful piece of religious architecture is no longer quite as it would have been intended when it was constructed in 1235. The remains of the once proud tower are just a series of foundation stones now. However, one can get an idea of what a magnificent piece of architecture it once was and learn more about the important religious part it played in local history when you visit.
