Trinity is a striking red brick Victorian Gothic church. Ebenezer Trotman, the son of the Tewkesbury Baptist Minister, built it in 1837. Notable features include a distinctive pointed front arch, a spacious gallery, an 1869 chancel by Heaton, Butler and Bayne, and a fine east window by Horwood Brothers. Ebenezer Trotman went on to become principal assistant to William Tite, President of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and architect of many well-know London railway stations and cemeteries.
