This delightful half-timbered cottage is set on the banks of the river Meece in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. It has been restored and now houses an angling museum which is dedicated to Izaak Walton. The cottage was once the home of Walton who was the author of the “Compleat Angler” which is now regarded as a literary classic. The museum includes a variety of fishing tackle, trout flies, rods and reels. There is also a small herb garden at the rear of the cottage
