Lunt Fort, a partial reconstruction of a First Century Roman fort, is part of Coventry Arts & Heritage Service. The site dates from AD60 and is thought to have been built as a result of the battle between Boudica and the Roman legions. In AD64 the fort was adapted to become a cavalry centre and the Gyrus, a wooden ring for training horses and riders and a feature unique in Britain.
