Market Drayton Museum is known as ‘The Story of Drayton’ because it brings to life the history of this community and its people. The entrance room to the museum is the former shop, and offers a time line starting 150 million years ago through to the present. There is an extensive fossil collection on display. Other exhibits relate to traditional sports and games, the pioneering aviators of the community and local produce.
