Situated next to the River Nene on the outskirts of Northampton on the junction of the major A45 and A428 roads, the Nene Whitewater Centre is easily accessible. The centre, the first pumped artificial whitewater course in the UK, provides white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking facilities for all abilities from beginner to expert and holds weekly coaching courses. The centre is home to the Northampton Canoe and Kayak Club and the Northampton Rowing Club.
