The New Art Gallery opened in the year 2000 and is part of a brand new civic building at the heart of the community. The permanent collection is impressive, containing the Garman Ryan Collection, displayed within an intricately connected two-storey house. There are also works by well-known European artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Picasso and Monet on display. The gallery hosts a variety of visiting shows throughout the year.
