The Central Library in the heart of Nottingham is housed in a beautiful building and has acted as one of the most important places of cultural and social exchange for a great deal of time. The collection is made up of texts, and audio and visual materials, much of which is available for loan. There is also an extensive local history collection on display here. The library hosts some exhibitions of art and craft from time to time.
