Oak House in West Bromwich has been open to the public since 1898, when it was gifted to the town by the benefactor Alderman Reuben Farley. This timber-framed yeoman’s house was built around 1590 and was enlarged with brick extensions in the 17th Century. Inside, visitors can see some fine examples of Tudor and Jacobean furniture, as well as intricate 17th Century wall panelling. A number of seasonal events and school holiday activities are held at Oak House throughout the year.
