This is one of the earliest Baptist chapels in England. Like many early chapels, it is hidden away. The 15th-century timber-framed is tucked away down a very narrow alley. Inside, the chapel has an 18th-century pulpit and baptistry and a 17th-century communion table. Outside, at the end of the alley, is a tiny cemetery, where, among others, William Hart Shakespeare is buried, a descendant of the playwright. Today, visitors can join pre-booked guided tours or attend exhibitions here.
