Inside the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery three are four different collections: natural history, local history, arts and crafts and ceramics. The main attraction that you first see is one of the Spitfires from WWII: celebrating Reginald Mitchell, inventor of the Spitfire, who was born and bred in Stoke-on-Trent. The natural history sector is very popular among children and adults alike, and has many interactive and hands-on exhibits. This museum really gives you can insight into the area’s history.
