This extraordinary environmental centre is based in an old Victorian Pumping station, situated in Gheluvelt Park, on the banks of the River Severn, one mile outside Worcester City Centre. It showcases a range of environmental technologies including solar technology, wind turbines, ground source energy, sheep’s wool insulation, rainwater harvesting systems and sustainable building materials. It's a great day out and will also educate and encourage visitors in the many ways of saving the planet. It is open four days a week, it's recommended to check before setting out.
