This is the largest shopping centre in Cheltenham, with its two floors, five restaurants, 70 shops and 500 parking spaces. Many well-known global brands are here alongside a few smaller independent retailers. Opened in 1985 by HRH Princess Ann, the Arcade was built using the highest quality materials, including marble, metal and reflective glass. Other features include a barrel vaulted roof and a panoramic 16-person glass lift. Regent Arcade was built on the site of the Plough Yard by Dyer Associates.
