Rotherwas was the family chapel of the Roman Catholic Bodenham family, important landowners in this area of Herefordshire. The simple structure consists of an Elizabethan timber framed roof and a rebuilt 18th Century tower. The interior is far more grand, showing signs of Victorian influence with a selection of decoration and furnishings by the Pugins. The property is under the care of English Heritage.
