Watermills would have been a very common recurring theme along the many waterways of Birmingham in the 18th Century, with over fifty in the immediate region. This is one of only a very small amount still remaining, and offers a fascinating insight into the way that the mills worked, and the lives of the people that ran them. Within the building visitors can experience a traditional bakehouse and metal workshop, as well as a granary and a small display on Tolkien and Lord of the Rings.
