The Shardlow Heritage Centre offers visitors a fascinating insight into the 18th Century canal port amongst many other interesting items. The collection is made up of an extensive range of artefacts that date from the earliest settlements through until the modern age. There is a full size replica canal boat to be explored, a children’s costume area where kids can dress up in period dress and a craft exhibition.
