Sherwood Library houses a large collection of reading materials, as well as having an extensive archive of audiovisual pieces that are available for loan. The library has a series of interactive terminals where visitors can access the Internet and search the catalogues of the library. Visitors are invited to browse the local history collection, and on occasion exhibitions are held of art and crafts in the lobby.
