Solomon's Temple is a Victorian folly built on top of Grin Low with extensive views over Buxton and the surrounding hills of the Peak district. You can climb the spiral staircase to the viewpoint at the top of the folly. On a clear day it is possible to make out Mam Tor and Kinder Scout, the highest point in the Peak District National Park. Solomon's temple was built on the remains of a bronze age burial site by farmer Solomon Mycock to give employment to local men.
