St Andrew’s Church
Church Lane, Toddington, Gloucestershire GL54 5DJ - England, UK

Map
A surprise in a village, St Andrew's is a very large yellow-orange stone church, dominated by a tall broach spire. In fact, it’s regarded as the finest Victorian church in England. Outside, features include beautiful Gothic windows and a quirky gargoyle waterspout. Inside, it's all marble, granite and white ashlar and for the most part vaulted, but most impressive of all is the marble mortuary chapel containing the tombs of the first Lord Sudeley and his wife. The effigies were sculpted by John Graham Lough.
