St David's Church has been largely rebuilt twice in its long history. Once in the 1540s, when a Tudor church replaced an earlier chapel of ease. Then again in 1858, when today’s church was built. The tall spire was added in 1861. It is over 35 metres high and houses a peal of eight bells. All that remains of the Tudor Church is the tower arch. Also of interest inside the church are 19th-century memorial tablets, a marble scroll and a Book of Remembrance under glass.
