St Denys Church can be found in the secluded village of Goadby Marwood, which is just off the A607 between Melton Mowbray and Grantham. Situated at the end of a quiet lane, this ironstone church was built in the 13th Century but partly dates from the 14th Century and is intricately designed. The building possesses more carvings than most, with four gargoyles adorning the church tower and many stone faces found within. The attractively-patterned font dates from the 14th Century. Outside, the imposing Goadby Marwood Hall overlooks St Denys.
