The church in Kimbolton, dedicated to St James, is mainly 13th Century. There are Norman windows in the chancel and some rich glass in 13th Century tracery. The tower is topped by a shingled spire and the 500 year-old bell is inscribed ‘John’s bell will ring for ever’. The chancel and nave are Early English and the choir stalls have 16th Century linenfold panelling. A medieval stoup and the more modern font sit side by side.

You have a beautiful church - the Easter garden you displayed for Easter was always lovely. We use to come every year with an aunt who lived in Shobdon until she died. We are in Yorkshire but will always remember Easter and your church.
