Except for retaining the medieval tower, a Norman doorway and the North arcade, the church was rebuilt in 1852 by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the Decorated style. There are two Italian chests, one depicting scenes of knights fighting. An Elizabethan chalice, a Van Dyck painting of the crucifixion and a 1560 Breeches Bible are other treasures. On one wall is a medieval scratch dial and stained glass windows show St George and St Francis.
