This medieval church has a reputation for having one of the most welcoming congregations. Its patron saint, Kenelm, or the Cotswold Boy Saint as he is known, has a fascinating history which they will gladly tell you all about. The present church building in the lovely rural village of Clifton-upon-Teme has stood for over eight hundred years. The Woodmanton chapel was added in 1350 and the spire was rebuilt in the Seventeenth century after being blown down, only to be struck by lightning in 1884.
