St Margaret’s Church in Corse is known locally as ‘the church in the orchards’, being situated amongst orchards of apple trees. It was most likely built during the 14th Century by the owner of the neighbouring manor house. The interior is simple with lime washed walls and a Norman font, which suggests an earlier church on this site. At the eastern end of the churchyard lies a Society of Friends (Quakers) burial area of 1648, making it one of the earliest in the country.
