St Mary’s Church, Bishop’s Frome, stands in the centre of the village. Not much remains of the original Norman church except the South door and the beautiful carved chancel arch. The massive Norman font is lead-lined. The later Victorian chancel and the North chapel are built in the Norman style and the screen is partly Victorian and partly late medieval. In a nave recess is a 13th Century figure of a knight in armour, sword in hand and a lion at his feet.
