This pretty church with 12th century origins is the site of an astonishing discovery. A Decalogue of reredos found here had lain hidden and decaying for 120 years. In 2004, the carved boards, displaying the words of the Ten Commandments, the Creed and the Lord's Prayer were returned to the church, having been fully restored, at a cost of £37,000. According to the restorers, the high quality of the carving makes this Decalogue one of the best in the UK.
