This 13th Century church is the centrepiece of Melton Mowbray and a building of almost cathedral-like proportions. Magnificent architecture combines with attractive stained glass windows to create the largest Parish Church in the whole of the county. The church contains a number of influences and styles, although most of it is in the Decorated Gothic form. The interior was restored in the 19th Century, and unusually, there are aisles in the transepts as well as the nave.
