Located in the off-the-beaten-track village of Edmondthorpe, this 14th church boasts a 13th century tower. The church boasts an appealing interior, with a grandiose three-tiered monument dating from the 17th Century dominating one corner and medieval screens and coats of arms elsewhere. The monument includes an effigy of Lady Ann Smith, with a red stain displayed at the wrist. Local legend explains that Lady Ann was a witch who could turn into a cat; her paw was injured while in cat form and she later died of her injuries.
