It is possible that this church was originally built when the de Lacy family held the manor of Stoke Lacy, as there is a restored Norman chancel arch amid the later restoration work. The 16th Century seven-feet-high oak chancel screen is elaborately carved but is almost hidden by the stone pulpit and probably imported from elsewhere. The church has some wonderful windows, one depicting a wedding scene. There is a peal of six bells, the oldest cast in 1350, and the newest in memory of local men who died in WWI.
