Stainsby Mill offers visitors the chance to see a 19th Century watermill in full working order, set in some of the most attractive Derbyshire countryside you could imagine. The enormous 17-foot waterwheel turns and powers the grinding millstones, producing fresh flour that is available for sale on site. The National Trust has been entrusted with the upkeep and preservation of this fascinating piece of industrial history.
