Based on the Grand Union Canal, the Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum is housed in a restored corn mill in this beautiful little village. The museum vividly brings to life over two hundred years of history on this canal. The canal system is explained, as well as its essential part in the Industrial Revolution through a series of video presentations and colourful displays. From the shining machines to the scale models, this museum is engaging and has something for everyone.
