This 56-acre green-flag park has something for everyone. For children, there's a model train, a putting green, a skateboard park and a safe children's play area. For sports enthusiasts, there's a basketball court, tennis courts and bowling greens, and for nature lovers and walkers, there's an ornamental lake, gardens and an arboretum with mature trees including oaks, maples and beeches. The park is open all year and, in summer, visiting silverbands play on Sunday afternoons at the park's bandstand.
