Richard Dudson found Dudson in 1800, but by the 1891, they started to specialise in pottery for hotels and hospitality. The Dudson museum, in the heart of Hanley, takes through the timeline of Dudson, and how they grew into the largest hotel tableware manufacturer. Part of the museum is built inside a Grade II listed bottle kiln, where you can see some of the products made by Dudson over the years.
