The Locksmith’s House is a heritage museum that has restored the actual facility that was run by the Hodson family at the turn of the 20th Century. Within, visitors can see how a Victorian family lived and worked. There is also a comprehensive collection of working keys and locks, belt driven machinery and padlocks that were a speciality of the family. The gas-lit interiors give an interesting insight into a time gone by.
