Standing in Chipping Campden's beautiful High Street, the Town Hall is, like most of its neighbours, made from golden stone. Dating from the 14th century, it has many other interesting features including blank bar tracery and a Diocletian south window. Later additions include the north porch added in 1897 and the clock turret added in 1880. The building has had a varied past, having been used as a gaol, a court house and the wool exchange at one time or another. Today it houses the town council.
