Located in the heart of Shrewsbury, the Town Walls Tower was built in the 14th Century and is one of the oldest surviving parts of the original defences built for the community. The National Trust purchased the tower in 1930, and since that time has been in their care. The tower offers wonderful views across the town and out onto the River Severn.
