Glass has been made at the Dial Glassworks in Stourbridge since 1788. The full range of old buildings can be viewed from the Stourbridge Canal. All manner of glass was produced from broad glass and bottles through to industrial glass and fancy goods. Today, it is the home of Tudor Crystal and visitors can see the whole glassmaking process on the factory tours or regular open days. The lead crystal is all blown and cut by hand. Visitors may even be lucky enough to become a glassmaker for a day!
